Step 1 of 6
Recruit Team Members
Build your team with passionate members from different skill backgrounds.
Sign Up Teams on Our Website
Post your team on our recruitment platform so interested students can find you and express interest. This makes it easy for potential members to learn about your team and join your group.
Spread the Word Locally
- Tell people verbally: Talk to students at your school or community center about joining your FTC team. Personal conversations are often the most effective way to recruit passionate members.
- Post fliers: Create and post fliers around your area — schools, libraries, community centers, coffee shops, and other local spaces. Include your team name, what FTC is about, and how to contact you.
- Social media: Share information about your team on school groups, community pages, and social networks.
- Club meetings: Visit robotics clubs, STEM clubs, maker spaces, or other student organizations to recruit members.
Action: Recruit 10–15 interested students with diverse skills — programmers, builders, designers, and problem-solvers all make strong teams.
